Students present 1 or 2 songs to friends and family in a performance that lasts 25-45 minutes on average. Students receive certificates as recognition for their hard work, and get the experience of performance in a more formal setting.
This performance happens ONCE PER YEAR - so sign up! The other performances we offer are more relaxed and focused on sharing music with an outside community such as in an Assisted Living Facility or an outdoor concert space.
Yes! We set these up to make this a positive and challenging experience for our students.

All student of every level and experience! If you just started and this makes you nervous, you are ok to wait until the next performance opportunity.
We encourage our students to participate but no one is required to.
You will receive an email with information, and the info will also be found in your Student App.
You will receive the link for the sign up form via email and in the Student App.
Ask your teacher about their goals for the student, and let them know you have signed up the student for the recitals. The teacher will choose 1 or 2 songs with the student to be prepared for the recital. Encourage regular practice (at least 15 minutes 3 x per week, minimum).
Have the student play their selection for you if they are nervous, and even practice in front of friends and family to help get them accustomed to performing for others.
Attend the practice recitals when you can - they are so important for students to become comfortable with the space and make the recital a positive experience.
Memorization is not required for recitals.
Recitals are timed to be anywhere from 25-45 minutes on average. We schedule them for every hour on the hour, and assign students based on teacher and instrument.
Unless you play piano or drums, you will need to bring your instrument. We provide the music stands, a piano and drum kit. The student should bring their music as well.
Yes! Once per year, in April or May, we organize formal recitals. This recital is for friends and family and students are presented certificates for their hard work and acheivement. We livestream this to youtube for any family or friends who cannot join in person.
We encourage students to dress their best, but their attire is up to you and them.
Yes! We want parents and family to get great shots of the performers before during and after the event.
